Nothing gets my inner fangirl squealing like spending time with other authors in real life So you can imagine my delight at being able to interview Marina Auer ahead of the media storm building up to the release of her second medical thriller on August 2nd.
MARINA AUER: DOCTOR, MOM, BAKER, NINJA, and now... AUTHOR.
Marina Auer is a woman who does nothing in half-measures. She refused to give up ju jitsu until she'd participated in a cage fight, bakes only the most exquisite biscuits a baker could produce, and has helped bring over 1500 babies into the world.
So naturally, when she started querying her debut medical thriller, she was snapped up by Kwela publishers and offered a 3-book traditional publishing deal.

Man, it feels good to have a series finally do so well after a decade of work!
Shadow Magic has been holding steady since October 2023, and I thought I'd give you a long-overdue numbers update.

I still can't get my head around it, this series has exceeded all of my expectations and just keeps getting better.
If you haven't tried it yet, the boxed set is still on a 99c promo (I have no idea how long Muonic Press will keep it there, so if you do want to read it at some point, it might be a good idea to grab it now!)
NB: It is mostly 'clean' urban fantasy - very little spice and very little swearing. Suitable for younger readers.
